Amelia is a young bitch we have been particularly pleased to watch develop. From the beginning, she has possessed the qualities we value in an Aviator Standard Poodle—good structure, balanced and effortless movement, a lovely temperament, and the confidence to carry herself with composure.

​

She made her American debut at just six and a half months of age, beautifully piloted by Sadie Fisher Lone. Having only recently arrived with Sadie, Amelia settled into her new partnership with remarkable ease and quickly began earning her place in the ring. Her early career included multiple four-point majors, followed by her American Championship at just 8 months and 4 days, when she was awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for a five-point major under Mrs. Cindy Stansell at the Cheyenne Kennel Club.

While the wins are gratifying, it is the consistency behind them that pleases us most. Amelia has shown herself to be a balanced, athletic and feminine bitch with the temperament and presence we hope to see in the young dogs we breed. She is the sort of bitch we can look at not only for what she is today, but for what she may become with maturity.

At Aviator, our young dogs are always considered with the future in mind. Amelia is no exception. We believe she has much to offer our breeding program, and we are looking forward to watching her mature and, in time, thoughtfully choosing the opportunities that will allow her to contribute to the next generation.

For now, we are simply enjoying the privilege of watching her grow into herself. Amelia is a young bitch with a great deal ahead of her, and we are very happy that she is ours.
